DeeJay KJ's career is a culmination of a lifetime of DeeJaying from East Coast City's like Providence, New York and Miami to name a few, to international destinations like Madrid and Lisbon. He is a versatile DJ with an open format library ranging from House, EDM, Hip-Hop, Latin Music, Reggatone, R&B  and much more. DeeJay KJ has been electrifying audiences with an infectious showmanship and an open minded music palette for what seems like a lifetime.Deejay KJ grew up in South Kingstown, Rhode Island (outside of Providence, RI) where his cousin, the late DJ Curty Cutt introduced him to DeeJaying at a college radio station, which began an instant love affair with the art of music and the art of manipulating records through Deejaying. Curating music for the most culturally definitive figures of our time began long ago for DeeJay KJ. His love of music and appreciation of sounds both classic and cutting-edge date back to age five when he discovered pivotal Hip Hop records like Run DMC's "Sucker MC's" and classics like "Sugar Hill Gang".  Tying it all into most recently playing for the likes of NFL Hall Of Famer Ty Law, formerly of the New England Patriots. The relevants of this is the perfect storm of marrying his old school R&B and Hip-Hop roots to more current music.Not only has DeeJay KJ entered the world of nightclub DeeJaying but he has also cemented himself as a staple in the Wedding Category of DJing. Playing high end weddings from Watch Hill, RI to Manhattan, to Destination Weddings in the Caribbean, and he doesn't stop there. KJ as his close friends call him,  is no stranger to Deejaying corporate Events in places like Boston, Foxwoods Casino, The Hamptons and more. Securing a Resident DJ spot at one of Rhode Islands most iconic venues for the past 20 years is one of the accomplishments Deejay KJ is most proud of (Bon Vue). As a DJ who predates the digital era, (but is also savvy to the digital era of Deejaying) his knowledge of what will rock a crowd matched with his careful selections make him an elite choice for a broad range of events and clients. In the 2014 he spun at a launch party for The Kardashians and a range of party's nightclubs and private events has just grown from there. In recent years, DeeJay KJ has expanded his reach to more international demographics and has also solidified a spot at iconic venues like Scorpion Bar and Shrine at Foxwoods Casino/MGM.Regardless of what the future holds, you can always catch DeeJay KJ spinning an unexpected blend of music, and  keeping the audience on it's toes. If you’re lucky you may even catch him showcasing his mastery at one of his favorite lounges in Providence, Rhode Island. The love of music and the appreciation for his supporters is second to none.
